Tumbling, thrift stores, banking...etc etc etc.

Mark's been busy with some business lately, so Emma and I have been bach'in it for a couple of days. Today we went to tumbling, the post office, the bank, Salvation Army, Arc, the grocery store and then McDonalds. She was such a trooper doing all these errands with me, she deserved the MickeyD's treat. While we were at Salvation Army, I was pulling some books...and I know I don't pack them as fast as Mark does, so I was telling her "I'll be done in just a little bit". Soon she came over and said "You can take your time, Nell." What a sweetie.

Arc was 50% off everything today and we cleaned up on school clothes. She got a ton of stuff. Sundresses, shirts, shorts..you name it. I think I spent about $12 and got two bags full of stuff. She is set! Now we just need to secure the daunting school supply list items and then bring it on!

Katie and Charlie are backpacking with Dan and his wife, I hope they're having a good time. I worry about them not bringing enough water, or not putting bug spray on, etc. Dan tends to be a minimalist when it comes to camping, and sometimes he doesn't think ahead to what might be needed. It's only one night, I know they'll be fine.

Tomorrow Daniel and I are heading to the flea market while Mark takes Emma southward to mommy. I'm not a huge fan of actually shopping at the flea market, but Daniel likes it, and I do get some awesome fruit and veggies there. I always love the smell of the roasting chile's too, but I would have no freaking idea what to do with them if I bought any. I'm such a weinie about spicy food. Seriously. "Extra" mint gum is too spicy for me. Shut up.
