We were all supposed to go to the movies today, but through this that and the other..it ended up just being me, Dy and Emma. Then partway through the movie it was clear Emma was not enjoying herself..so her and dy left and I stayed by myself and got a ride home after by calling Mark. We saw Pirates of the Carribean, and it was pretty good. Most of the fun was drooling over Johnny Depp. What a tasty morsel he is in that movie. Orlando Bloom was forgettable, though I'm not a fan to begin with.
The next couple of days will be crazy, I won't be posting till at least late Saturday night, unless I post again later tonight. Wish us luck that the wedding goes smoothly and everyone has a good time, and Amanda doesn't get too frazzled. I think it will be great fun. I need to go start putting some things together, as I won't be home much in the next two days.
And I don't know if you all enjoyed that Elton John song..or hated it to death because no one ever leaves any comments around here.
Ahem.
In any regard, here's another also ran song.
"I Will Be Here" ~Steven Curtis Chapman
Tomorrow morning if you wake up and the sun does not appear
I will be here
If in the dark, we lose sight of love
Hold my hand, and have no fear
'Cause I will be here
I will be here
When you feel like being quiet
When you need to speak your mind
I will listen
And I will be here
When the laughter turns to cryin'
Through the winning, losing and trying
We'll be together
I will be here
Tomorrow morning, if you wake up
And the future is unclear
I will be here
Just as sure as seasons were made for change
Our lifetimes were made for these years
So I will be here
I will be here
And you can cry on my shoulder
When the mirror tells us we're older
I will hold you
And I will be here
To watch you grow in beauty
And tell you all the things you are to me
I will be here
I will be true to the promise I have made
To you and to the One who gave you to me
Tomorrow morning, if you wake up
And the sun does not appear
I will be here
Oh, I will be here..
